From the dashboard looking towards the backseat, you can see Cameron walking towards the back of the car, then he stops, jumps up and down a couple times, then retreats back to the car to go pick up Ferris. I have seen that movie so many times and that is still my favorite scene. "Do you have any idea what my diastolic is?" A LONG time ago, there was a similar morale problem here at Yahoo!. There was a spat of people sending out the obligatory email to "all worldwide" saying "Hey, it's been great working here for the past 15 months, but I am cashing out and heading to different pastures". There were so many of these that it was dragging the rest of us common folk down. It took the courage of one fine engineer to stand up and reply (paraphrasing): "I am sending this email out to say that I am NOT leaving. I am rededicating myself to this company because I feel that it is a place that can change the world. I love coming to work, dealing with the biggest problems on the internet, facing the competition head on, and working with the smartest people in the industry." I will always remember johnr for that moment. He stabilized the situation and unified the rest of us in a common cause. That guy went on to achieve great things here.
