Comment moderation enabled
Well, Akismet has really been screwing the pooch lately on my blog. So I’ve reenabled comment moderation. There have been one too many explicit comments making it past Akismet in the past couple of weeks. As a result, I’ve decided to proactively monitor my queue.

grr. i hate spammers. they will all burn in the blue flame section in hell.

odd, techcrunch have loved akismet, saying it’s amazing at catching spam.
i know this is slightly OT, but any status on getting yahoo mail beta working with opera?

In general, Akismet has been good. But it has periods where it just doesn’t block spam.

Akismet worked fine for me except I still had to peruse what it had filtered just in case it over reacted. Then I went to a math challenge and I didn’t have to do anything. Only the good got through.
Spammers are an incredibly lazy bunch - unwilling to take the moment to ‘do the math.’
