I have a LCD TV since 3 years and at the time it was a great contrast to my old CTR. But since I saw the picture of a Laser TV prototype it's my confirmed goal to buy one as soon as they are on the market (which will be early 2007 but might be later). The color richness and depth is far beyond anything I have ever seen on a TV. And they say a Laser TV will consum 75% less power than Plasma. and even LCD-TVs. 50" screens shall be in an affordable price range. Let's see :-). Anyway, for such a TV I'm willing to wait another year till I upgrade and to pay more than $2500.
