Comments on: Bad Akismet…no biscuit

Yeah, I’m not as concerned about the amount of Akismet spam I have to sift through. I’m mostly concerned about the fact that I’m a logged in WP admin and it’s flagging my comments as spam. That just doesn’t seem right.

Akismet isn’t perfect, unfortunately. I should know. It even marks my comments as spam sometimes. There’s not really much you can do to Aksimet about this, but you should also be running Bad Behavior, to keep out the spammers before they even hit your site at all. (Which means there’s far less junk to view in the Akismet Spam page.)

I’m having the same problem with Akismet. It all started yesterday, it seems like all the comments are ending up in the spam folder.

I managed to get a comment through today without being snagged. I wonder if there was just an intermittent issue on the Akismet server end.

that is a bit disturbing. i wonder if there’s someone sabatoging your domain? i haven’t seen a false positive using akismet yet — i use it in conjunction with spam karma, and have only had two or three spams slip through.

It fucking did it again. Getting sick of this…
