Young enough to rock…

…old enough to pay for it later. Lisa and I went to see Korn in concert last night at Arco Arena. It was a good show, Korn has yet to fail us in the live act department (this is the fourth show for both of us). They hit all my favorites, including Shoots and Ladders (YMU) and Twist (YMU). They also did some big mash up of a bunch of songs where they’d play 30-45 seconds of each. This was kind of a neat way to hear songs you might not get to hear otherwise because the band is mixing in a lot of new stuff (yes, they did play a TON of stuff from the new album).

Anyway, I’m sweaty and I smell like pot. My ears are ringing and my vision’s a little blurry. But at least my headache is gone. :)

There is something very, very special about seeing rock and roll bands play at the Arco Arena.

I saw Cake at the Civic Auditorium (I think) back in about 1996 or 1997. They were fun to watch, especially since they were playing for their hometown crowd.

That would be the Memorial Auditorium. Wow, that was a long time ago!

Thank god for my second brain. :)
