Turkeys in Folsom

Turkeys in Folsom

This is mostly to test flickr’s ability to post to my WordPress blog. But I figured I’d also share this picture from last week. We get turkeys out front every morning. On this particular day, Ricky and Lucy were both checking the birds out through the front window.

Not bad. I should probably tweak flickr’s posting template, but it’s not terrible. Allegedly there’s a way to make it so flickr will auto post to your blog when a new photo is added. That might be handy for when I’m taking pictures on my camera phone (I could upload them directly from my phone and have them appear on my blog too).

    Ahhh turkeys.

While at college I saw turkeys soaring down from the hills to get a drink one early morning at Lake Lopez. That was the first time I had seen a wild turkey and I was surprsied at how well it flew.
