You know the parking situation at your company is bad when it makes news on cnet (either that or they’re desperate for any story they can get their hands on). The last company I was at that had a decent parking situation was my final months at Excite@Home (after about 90% of the company had been laid off).
Jeremy started the public thread. I actually think it’s funny that some Yahoo!’s started a flickr account to store pictures of some of the most heinous parking offenses at our overcrowded lots.
It’s pretty amazing that even with the number of Yahoo!’s we have telecommuting, biking, carpooling and riding the train that we still have a parking crunch. That’s a testament to how quickly the company is expanding.
Update: Now it’s being covered by Real Tech News. Their article is a little misleading, though. The person who started that flickr account isn’t the same person who started the whole thing internally (she sits one cube over from my bullpen).
