Ken makes an interesting point. While most bloggers (and people on the internet in general) feel free to spray their thoughts (whatever they may be) about the internet, some people actually think hard about things before they say them. I noticed a few years back I looked myself up on Google to see what turned up. I found several references to a mailing list I was active on during college. I was, at times, not the most eloquent of speakers and frequently my anger and frustration came out more visibly that it should have. Looking at those posts years later all I could think was, “I was a total jackass.”
